Privacy Policy

Solid Tactical is a brand of Solid Strategic Services LLC (“Solid Tactical,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what information we collect on solidtactical.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are a small US business, and we’ve tried to keep this short and plain.

Information we collect

Wholesale quote requests

When you ask for a wholesale quote, we collect what you enter in the form: your name, email address, company, order size, the products you want, quantity, ship-to ZIP code, phone number, and any notes. Company, phone and notes are optional. We also record the page you came from and basic campaign details (such as UTM tags) so we know which pages bring in quote requests.

Site chat (only if chat is turned on)

If we offer chat on the site and you use it, we collect what you type in the chat and the contact details you choose to share. Chats are logged and may be reviewed by our staff and processed by an AI provider, using automated tools, to answer and route your requests. Our chat assistant is an AI assistant, not a person, and you can ask for a person from our team at any time.

Store orders

When you buy through our online store, we collect what’s needed to process and ship the order, such as your name, billing and shipping address, email, phone, and order details. Payments are handled by our payment processor; we don’t store full card numbers on our site.

Emails and calls

If you email or call us, we keep the messages and the contact details you give us.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics (installed through Google’s Site Kit plugin for WordPress) to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed and whether a quote form is submitted. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and collects information such as your device, browser, approximate location and pages visited. Our store also uses cookies to keep your cart and account working. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Some parts of the site may not work without cookies.

Advertising measurement

When you submit a form on our site, we may share a hashed (encrypted) version of your email address with Google to measure how well our advertising works. Hashing turns your email address into a scrambled code before it is sent, and Google doesn’t use it to identify you. If you’d rather we didn’t, email us@solidtactical.com with “Ad measurement opt-out” in the subject. You can also manage how Google uses your data at myadcenter.google.com.

How we use your information

To prepare and send your quote, and to follow up about it.
To process, ship and support your order, including returns.
To answer your questions by email, phone or chat.
To run, secure and improve our website.
To keep business, tax and accounting records.

Quote requests from our wholesale form are received and answered by our wholesale desk at carter@solidstrategic.com.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us quote, fulfil and ship orders and run our business, such as our website host, email and form tools, payment processor, warehouse and fulfilment partners, freight carriers and shipping companies, analytics and advertising measurement (Google), and, if chat is enabled, our chat provider. They may use it only to provide those services to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights, or as part of a sale or merger of our business.

How long we keep information

Quote requests, sales emails and chat logs: up to 24 months from our last contact with you, then deleted, unless the request turns into an order.
Orders and invoices: as long as tax, accounting and other laws require us to keep them.
Analytics data: kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings.

Marketing emails

We send you emails about your quote or order. We only send marketing emails if you’ve asked to hear from us or are a business contact we’ve worked with. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, or you can reply or write to us@solidtactical.com to stop them. We’ll still send messages about any open quote or order.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email us@solidtactical.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. We may need to confirm your identity before acting, and we may keep information the law requires us to keep, such as order records.

Depending on where you live, US state privacy laws (for example in California, Virginia, Colorado and other states) may give you additional rights, such as the right to know, access, correct or delete your information, to get a copy of it, and to opt out of its sale or use for targeted advertising. We don’t sell personal information. You can use the same email to make any of these requests, and you can use an authorized agent where the law allows. We won’t treat you differently for using your rights.

Children

Our site and products are meant for adults and businesses. The site is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we’ll delete it.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, such as limiting who can access it and using encrypted (HTTPS) connections on our site. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll post the new version on this page and change the effective date above.
